The charge against those raided this time is "subversive conspiracy". It is alleged that Il Silvestre activists robbed a post office to help fund their alleged direct action activities and publish their literature. One of the people raided yesterday is vegan activist Paola Gori who is linked to the Italian prisoner support group Senza Gabbie. As a result of these latest raids Paola has been remanded into custody. ... Paola can read English as well as Italian, so please send her a letter of support today."

Today, the 29th of May, ROS (Special Operation Team of Carabinieri) raided
several houses of comrades in Tuscany, Friuli, probably other places, and
made an arrest. Once again, the charge is 270bis (subversive association)
and it comes from the sad magistrates of the anti-terrorism attorney of
Florence, in this case public magistrate Meioni.
By what we know, a dozen people are under investigation, between them Daniele and Francesco are charged with a post office robbery and jailed since last year's month of june - ; it seems this investigation is connected with that event.
Unfortunatly they arrested our comrade Paola, and this fills us with rage & grudge.
Our love and solidarity goes to her and all the others. Tomorrow she is going to have the interrogation for the validation of the arrest at Le Sughere prison (Livorno), where she is actually jailed. Wait for updates.

After the inquiry named "COR", where 2 of the 11 defendants have been sentenced upon the 270bis article (subversive association) and the one named "affinity groups", constructed upon a theory of a phantomatic subversive association involving many comrades from via del Cuore, which then resulted in miserable hole in the water, the state attorney Giuseppina Meoni (from the antiterrorist section of Florence) helped by those charlatans of the ROS (special squads of Carabinieri and well famous for having fabricated often "granitic proofs" and turned for their use results of phone and environmental tapping) is depicting for the third time within four years another 270bis for the same defendants of the precedent inquiries, as much as against other newcomers which joined the group despite the ongoing persecutions, which were exactly aiming to discourage the militancy and the solidarity.
On the 29.5.8 there have been 12 raids in Pisa, Livorno, La Spezia, Prato, Udine: 12 defendants, 3 of them with an arrest warrant, this one against Paola Gori (antispecist activist and radical ecologist) from Livorno, Daniele Casalini and Francesco Gioia (anarchists already detained in Parma and Sollicciano, accused of a robbery at a postal office), and another arrest warrant against Leonardo Landi, anarchist from Via del Cuore, who was not to be found by the authorities. The plot of the present inquiry is the same ever since the one inaugurated in 1995 by the state attorney Marini in Rome, also always helped by the ROS, based upon the hypothesis of the double level, the famous manifest/occult, through which the "subversive association" in turn manifested and occulted its own actions; house becomes lairs; friendships are being transformed into criminal bounds and the journals of propaganda, nationally distributed (in this case Terra Selvaggia) into internal bulletin.
It begins on the 12.6.7, when Daniele and Francesco have been arrested on the mountains around Lucca, shortly after a robbery at a postal office in Terrinca (nearby Lucca) have been taking place.
Of course, for the ROS, who carry the function of repressing any social struggle, it has not been enough to have two comrades in their sack and, exactly close to the moment where the terms of preventive detention were finishing, they though on how to create as much damage as possible to the political area of origin of those comrades, which showed its solidarity from the very beginning on.
Therefore, Daniele, Francesco, Leo and Paola are indicted with the "..article 270bis because, in constituting among them a specific "affinity group", structured along the subversive scheme of the double level...promoted, constituted and organised a criminal association towards the violent subversion of the State democratic order and which aimed to do acts of violence with a terrorist and subversive finality, among which the plotting and doing of a robbery against the postal office of Terrinca, done on the 12.6.7, for gathering money, indeed towards the direct procurement of the necessary resources towards the operativeness and survival of such association, also under the profile of economical assistance for the prisoners, an organisation which has been acting in sinthony with other subversive groups active in the other regions of the italian State and devoted to a diffuse activity of proselytism through leaflets, documents and the periodic at internal circulation "Terra Selvaggia", wherein one would find manifested expressions towards the instigation and apology of crimes aimed to attain the subversion of the democratic order.
In Livorno, Pisa and other areas of the national territory, at least since march 2007 until nowadays...Moreover, they are indicted...with the article 110, 628, I, II and III comma c.p.... because, together with other not yet identified persons, have seized 3460euros from the postal office of Terrinca...Casalini Daniele, who introduced himself inside the postal office...masked and with a gun in his hand...Gioa Francesco, who did the "watch"...Landi Leonardo, who ensured the logistical and organisational support...Gori Paola, who out her house at disposition - steadily used for the "restricted" meetings...With the aggravating circumstance of having acted towards the finality of terrorism and subversion of the democratic order..."
This time again the umpteenth subversive association hits the ties of solidarity which has been created during the last years.
What one is trying to do is the isolation of the comrades, the estrangement and criminalization of the struggles.
That is why are the most generous comrades who have been hit, the ones who chose on which side to stay without caring of all the repressive maneuvers which everyday more become clear under everybody's eyes.
Comrades who are struggling since many years in defense of the earth and the animals, against the various projects of environmental destruction, from TAV to the electromagnetic pollution or the incinerator, always in solidarity with all the ones who have reached by repression and active within their support.
