This is a newly translated letter about the hungerstrikes by rebellious prisoners across Europe in November. Many prisoners in Italy also made a hungerstrike against prison terms of more than 20 years or more ('life sentence').
There is no end to how far you can fall in this monstrous system...if one believes that pain (especially psychic) has a limit then one does not know the isolation regimes of the penitentiary.
Only the escape (in all its forms) is the nitrate that feeds the growing from nothing, routine and monotony.... this perpetual chain that only finishes with unavoidable death.
Seen this way death is the lesser bad for a "ergastolani" (Italians that are sentenced to life imprisonment) and struggle for death the one thing that gives "some sort of sense" to this madness.
How could anybody (it doesn't matter who) and in the name of something (whatever that is) condemn a man "for life" without freedom for an act (whatever act that may be) that is a reaction that happens in one second or for an accumulation of circumstances?
How could one believe a society (whatever type of society) that expects to survive the fury of those with nothing left to lose?
How could one justify to oneself a vengeance so pitiful in the name of Common Sense, Justice, Society, The System, Liberties etc..?
Inevitably a system like this should be attacked and felled... a society like this that brutalises needs a real "re-education" in Common Sense and Liberty...
We organise our discontent, our antagonism; we extend our hand to the fallen proletariat ( conscious or not of their condition of excluded/exploited), the rebel, the persecuted, the prisoner, the mad, to the "crooked"...
We start by not being so dogmatic and planting our feet on the earth. Who really fights tyranny? Evidently those that already have nothing to gain by wearing a mask and feigning "wellness" in a rotten world.
For some of us it is not enough to run from the whole prison... it is not enough for us to run because we know and are conscious of how damaging it is for oneself and the whole proletariat that regimes of exclusion/extermination exist... (the privileged only know from what they have seen on the TV and a lot of those excluded only know when the social/economic conditions oblige them to go against the laws/rules of the rulers.)
Those of us who do not chose not to escape but to make of this a dialectic confrontation know that only organised, with all of the parts can we destroy that which de facto is oppressing us day to day in so many diverse ways. We will help social struggles and revolts that are a clear aggression towards the existent. We few libertarian prisoners* will be from the 1st to the 3rd of December in hunger strike, symbolically supporting the protest of the ergastolanis that commences the 1st of December... just like the most recent detainees in Italy.
In the same fashion (hunger strike) we will be supporting from 14 to the 17 the homage to the Turkish communist resistors murdered during the massacre of the 22nd to the 24th of December 2000 in Turkey. As well we are supporting the resistors in the Hunger Strike against the Type F prisons. We salute the 6th International gathering against Isolation which is celebrated in Brussels.
Against All Authority
Until we are all free

*I refer to the recent detainees in Italy, with you we are in solidarity and alliance. The prisoners that have participated in the hunger strike from 1-3 of December are: Rafael Martinez Zea, Gabriel Pombo Da Silva, Jose Fernandez Delgado. And the prisoners who have make up the 14 to the 17th are: Rafa, Joaquin Garces (imprisoned in Barcelona since 2003) Jose Fernandez Delgado, Gabriel Pombo da Silva and Marco Camenisch.
Gabriel is an anarchist who along with another, Jose Fernandez Delgado, escaped from the brutal F.I.E.S prison system of the Spanish State. Gabriel, Jose, and also anarchist Bart de Geeter are now residing in the Jails of Germany, after attempting to escape a police control on the Belgium/German border.
